CAREER OPPORTUNITY IN COAL MINING INDUSTRY PT. Berau Coal is one of Indonesia's large thermal coal producers located in Berau District of East Kalimantan and in the year 2005 expanding its production to achieve 10 million metric tons. To achieve our vision, we have following positions to offer for the right person that we can develop and grow together: GEOTECHNIC & HYDROLOGY ENGINEER (GET - K) Report to Technical Services and Planning Manager, responsible for evaluating and recommending geotechnical & hydrological designs and standard for mine planning, over burden, excavation & disposal, and civil engineering construction. Must posses mining, geotechnical or geological engineering degree with 2 years geotechnical and hydrological experience, be not more than 35 years old and will be relocate to Berau. GEOLOGIST (GEO - K) Report to Geology and Development Manager, responsible for coal geological aspect interpretation (correlation, geological structure), supervising the drilling activities, and well-logging result interpretation. Must have geological engineering degree (fresh graduate), be not more than 26 years old and will be relocated to Berau. DOCUMENT CONTROLLER SUPERVISOR (DCS- K) Report to the Environment Health and Safety Manager. Responsible for controlling LK3 performance document & data, and preparing the LK3 report. The appointee must have bachelor degree related with environment, health or safety with 5 years experience in open pit mining company at the similar position, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification or other environment management system certification, be not more than 35 years old and will be relocate to Berau. MINE PLAN ENGINEER (MPE - K) Report to Technical Services and Planning Manager, responsible for designing mine planning and supervising mining process by contractor. Must posses mining engineering degree with 2 years experience at similar position, be not more than 35 years old and will be relocate to Berau. SHIPPING SUPERVISOR (SHP-K) Reporting to the Shipping Manager, responsible for supervising the unloading - loading activities from barges to vessel and coordinating the transportation to the coal transshipment point. Must possess a Chief Mate Ocean (MPB II) / ANT qualification, minimum 2 years working experience as 2nd in International liner or shipping agency will be advantage. Be not older than 35 years old and will be relocate to Berau. All candidates must be fluent in English and always strive to excellent.
