Senior Surveyor, Grasberg Operations Pit Development (Code-SSUR)
Basic Responsibilities:
To provide quality survey mapping services at the direction of Pit Development Management. To direct crews in survey operation review and analyze data, coordinate development to ensure activities are completed in a timely manner in order to meet planned expectations.
Specific Requirements:
▪S1 degree in Geodesy with at least 5 years of experience as Chief Surveyor in a mining environment , and at least 2 years total in mining industry.
▪Excellent knowledge and experience with GPS and conventional survey systems.
▪Computer literacy
Surveyor, Grasberg Operations Pit Development (Code-SUR)
Basic Responsibilities:
To coordinate and control the roads, dump activities and special projects at the Grasberg area to ensure the process is completed in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
Specific Requirements:
▪Geodetic or Civil Bachelor degree with one year of mine surveying experience or Technical high school / high school mathematical major with 3 years of mine surveying experiences.
▪Good knowledge and experience with GPS survey systems, total stations survey instruments and level instruments.
General Foreman, Pit Services (Code-GFPS)
Basic Responsibilities:
To coordinate and control the roads, dump activities and special projects at the Grasberg area to ensure the process is completed in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
Specific Requirements:
▪Bachelor degree/S1 in Mining or Civil Engineering with 5 years of experience in mining operations or construction, or Senior High School with 10-12 years of experience in mining operations or construction.
▪Good understanding of construction practices and rigging;
▪Good knowledge and experience with heavy equipment and possession of heavy equipment licenses.
▪Geological Knowledge.
▪Computer literacy
Foreman, Pit Services (Code-FPS)
Basic Responsibilities:
To supervise and control roads and dumps at the Grassberg area in coordination with other Grasberg Operation Departments.
To maintain Grasberg road and dump conditions in order to support PTFI goals and requirements.
Specific Requirements:
▪ Minimum Sr. High School – with 5 years of experience in open pit mining,
▪ Good knowledge and experience with heavy equipment and possession of heavy equipment licenses.
General Foreman, Roads (Code-GFRD)
Basic Responsibilities:
To coordinate and control the roads, drainage activities and special projects at the Grasberg area to ensure the process is completed in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
Specific Requirements:
▪ Bachelor Degree/S1 in Mining or Civil Engineering with 5 years of experience in mining operations or construction, or Senior High School with 10-12 years of experience in mining operations or construction.
▪ Project Management skills.
▪ Geological Knowledge.

To supervise and control projects within the Grasberg mining area in coordination with other Grasberg Operation Departments.
To complete the designed projects during the scheduled timeline in order to support PTFI goals and requirements.
Specific Requirements:
▪ Minimum Sr.High School – with 5 years of experience in open pit mining.
▪ Good knowledge and experience with heavy equipment and possession of heavy equipment licenses.
Foreman, Drain Construction (Code-FDC)
Basic Responsibilities:
To supervise and control the construction of the designed concrete pit drainage system at the Grasberg Area in coordination with other Grasberg Operation Departments.
To maintain the Grasberg drainage system in order to support PTFI goals and requirements.
Specific Requirements:
▪ Minimum Sr. High School – with 5 years of experience in open pit mining.
▪ Good knowledge and experience with heavy equipment and possession of heavy equipment licenses.
▪ Previous work experience and proficiency with concrete construction.
General Requirements:
▪ Ability to understand instructions, visualize solutions and implement plans.
▪ Core competencies and skills in : Achievement Orientation, Analytical Thinking, Customer Service Orientation, Safety and Environment, Cultural Sensitivity, and Team Leadership.
▪ Good communication skills and proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
