Sorry for the delay, away skiing.

I do not see this problem in kbuild for 2.5.2[56].  I suspect that -ct1
has an incorrect merge of kbuild 2.5.  Apply the latest kbuild 2.5 core
patch to a pristine 2.5.25 then compare the scripts directory between
that and -ct1.
