Hi Roman,
The (undocumented) kbuild 'menuconfig' command, eg, as used by the
CONFIG_EMBEDDED configurable, does not behave well under 'make gconfig'.

An example use appears under the left pane as 'Remove kernel features'
indented under 'General Setup', but its value cannot be changed there.

If I click on its parent menu, 'General Setup', the General Setup options
appear in the right pane, but 'Remove kernel features' does not initially
appear in the right pane.

When I click and change any shown right-pane configurable, for example,
'BSD Process Accounting', suddenly 'Remove kernel features' appears in
the right pane. At that point the right-pane version can be clicked on
and changed.

IMO, if 'Remove kernel features' is going to be a right-pane item, it should
always appear there (it has no dependencies on other configurables which
might suppress its display, if it did then of course its display could
have been at times legitimately suppressed).

Also, it would be nice to know what the kbuild menuconfig command does.
It is not documented in Documentation/kbuild/*. It is used in only two
places across all Kconfig's so it is hard to figure out what it is about
by example. Perhaps in the interests of KISS it can be eliminated?

Joe
