I work for Society of Teachers of Family Medicine as their web application and database programmer.  Our web applications use CF MX.

I write applications that enable our members to do peer reviews of articles, make purchases from our online store, sign up for conferences, and many others.

I am originally a Java/JSP programmer but we switched to CF MX as it is simplier and reduces our overhead (we don't need our own J2EE server).  After learning Java, JSP, and J2EE learning CF was easy.

I currently use CF
I work for KCPL
We have several types of projects that we do form inventory to work request systems
We prefer to call it multi-tasking
CF jobs are usually full-time, but we've been under a hiring freeze for over a year.
I am self-taught and have been using CF for a little over 3 years

Subject: [KCFusion] OT Chatter

Here are some questions that might get some chatter going...

How many people are actively using Cold Fusion in their jobs?
What companies in KC use Cold Fusion?
What kind of a project are you currently involved in?
Are you involved in multiple projects at the same time?
Are CF jobs usually temp/contract work or are the jobs full time/full benefits kind of work?
How did you learn CF?
