Not an expert on this, but opening a PDF and inserting data is fairly simple but it happens on the client end doesn't it? In other words you can open the CF file, fill out the data and return a FDF file and then the acrobat on the client machine opens the FDF file, then combines it with the PDF. Unless you have a better way of combining the PDF's, if you do let me know I would be very interested.
That said, my only suggestion is some kind of macro/JavaScript on the PDF file itself telling it to save somewhere. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Laire Josh Sent: Friday, July 23, 2004 9:27 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [KCFusion] ColdFusion to PDF I am trying to open a predefined PDF, put dynamic CF data into the PDF and save the PDF off to another directory on the fly. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? ========================================================= Kansas City ColdFusion User Group's website & listserv is hosted through the generous support of Clickdoug.com To send email to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To (un)subscribe, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with your request.
