Unless Qt screws something (implicitly, by generating a new drawable?) you
should only have to set the window type *once*.
Unfortunately, Qt::WA_X11NetWmWindowTypeDesktop is only available for QWidget
(and I assume it's not?)
Is there any bugreport on the type being altered unwantedly or can we assume
that this is just a leftover from the desktop -> dashboard approach?
