When using the kwin_x11 compositor, sometimes the screenlocker is unresponsive,
like it is freezed. Switching to a TTY and back to the locker "unfreezes"
everything and it is possible to enter the password.
When disabling the compositor Sift+ALT+F12, the locker doesn't freeze, it works
as expected.
Reproducible: Sometimes
When it is "freezed", it is possible to enter the password and press Enter, but
the screen doesn't change. A switch to a virtual console and back shows the
unlocked desktop.
I have observed this behavior not only in version 5.5.x, but also with version
5.4
