I'm on 5.17.0 on Gentoo amd64 and killing kglobalaccel5 does not "fix" the
issue. If I put XbkLayout (I use an IT layout) in xorg.conf, then global
shortcuts work but for example Ctrl+Z does not work anymore in editors
(sublime, kate). Also in nano on Konsole I have to use ctrl+shit+x in order be
able to exit.

On the other way if I don't put XbkLayout on xorg.conf, then global shortcuts
does not work unless I kill and relaunch kglobalaccel5. If I do this, then I
have the Ctrl+Z issue described above.
