STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Freetube or Signal
2. Whilst the app is opening start pressing meta for the start menu
3. It will stop responding - either remains in an open or closed state for less
than 10 seconds until the app fully loads
OBSERVED RESULT
Whilst the app is opening the panel and the desktop becomes unresponsive.
EXPECTED RESULT
No freezes when opening xwayland apps
