STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open VLC player (a Qt5 app)
2. trigger the open file dialog by pressing ctrl+o
3. activate the previews by clicking on the correspondent button on top of the
open file dialog
4. set icon view mode
5. navigate to a folder containing video files
