Bad rendering of software icons

I'm absolutely unsure of the product & components where this belongs, so it's
highly likely it's not to the right place, if so I'm sorry.

I'm not a regular KDE/Plasma user, but still use it sometimes here and there. I
can't remember the last time I used it, but it's highly likely it was on 5.x,
and the issue I report here is a regression; it wasn't there back then.

SUMMARY

Many icons renders incorrectly. This happens in the application launcher, the
bottom panel, the task switcher on both X11 and Wayland, and also in the window
decorations when they exist, but only for Wayland: icons for window decorations
(at least for those I checked) renders correctly on X11.

Most of those I noticed this seems to be base GNOME icons where a black
background appears when there shouldn't be one. But the worst I could see where
on Fractal and Alacritty icon which probably is the worst of all.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Just run KDE/Plasma with some of the affected programs installed.
2.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT

Icons rendered incorrectly.

EXPECTED RESULT

Icons should be correctly rendered.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: ArchLinux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.5
Qt Version: 6.8.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

See joined screenshot for an example of how these two icons appears. If needs
be I can add later on a screenshot of how it should appears taken from another
DE, but checking their respective website could give an idea.

Additionally, I also have a different issue with Thunderbird icon, only on task
switcher and in the application launcher in the Windows section if it runs:
instead of the icon it shows a generic Wayland icon, but I think this is a
quite different issue that should be reported elsewhere?
