I was looking at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499423 and could reproduce that issue on a Neon VM. I also saw Chromium browsers not prompt to close windows, as you reported here - but I tried installing OnlyOffice via Flatpak, and it did not successfully prompt about unsaved work (where it seems like it did for you).
