The same message appears in all the folders. All these folders appeared on my desktop. I deleted them and when I try to copy them again from my external hard drive, it doesn't allow me to copy them. This sounds like it might be a permissions issue. Can you please check the permissions on your home folder to ensure it is owned by your user and you have read and write access.
