SUMMARY
When I send the operating system into suspend mode with "systemctl suspend",
then everything works fine.
But when I use the standby button in the Kickoff Application Launcher of KDE
Plasma, then the operating system goes into suspend mode and after user input
resumes to a black screen.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kickoff Application Launcher
2. Klick on "Standby Mode"
3. Wait until the operating system is in suspend mode.
4. Provide user input so that the operating system awakes
5. Wait until the operating system has returned from suspend mode

OBSERVED RESULT
The screen is black.

EXPECTED RESULT
The Plasma desktop environment is visible on the monitor

kwin_wayland[1605]: kwin_wayland_drm: Pageflip timed out! This is a bug in the
nvidia-drm kernel driver

This message occurs when the operating system goes into suspend mode after step
2.
