I have the same issue.

SUMMARY
Whenever i try to use the Remote Input feature on the Android Client, when i
type a capital letter, the PC receives it as a lowercase letter. For example i
press shift button on my android keyboard + c, the PC receives only the
lowercase 'c'.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Pair android phone with a PC
2. Go into remote input on the phone
3. Bring keyboard up on phone
4. Press shift + <random letter>

OBSERVED RESULT
I observe that the lowercase letter is typed on the PC instead. So the shift
key has no effect.

EXPECTED RESULT
I expect the letter typed on the PC to be capital, since shift was pressed.
