I just tried Amarok 2.8.0 here on Kubuntu 16.10 with Plasma 5, works without
problems.
This could be a problem with either your distribution or something wrong in the
last running playlist, but sadly you do not have debugging symbols in your
backtrace to make it useful. To produce a valid backtrace, you need to
recompile Amarok with debugging enabled, as your distribution does not provide
debugging packages.

FWIW: you can try to erase your currently loaded playlist by erasing the file
current.xspf, located in ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/, if the problem is with the
playlist, this should solve the issue.
