Bug ID: 502284
Summary: Wrong number of windows in session restore file entry
causes empty windows to be launched
Classification: Applications
Product: konqueror
Version: 24.02.2
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: session restore
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
If the entry in the session restore file for:
> [General]
> Number of Windows=10
Has a number of windows higher than the actual window entries in the file, the
session restore code will open a number of blank windows until that number of
windows is met. So if a session file that starts with the above `Number of
Windows=10` but only has a single entry for a Window0, then 9 more empty
windows are opened.
Last version where I had this problem is: konqueror-23.08.5-1, x86_64 on fc39.
kf5-kio-core-libs version is 5.116.
I'm working on the session restore code, and this issue seems to be fixed with
the changes I have already made in my local copy. I am filing this bug to track
the problem, in case there are any further issues with it later on, or if my
fixes do not resolve the issue for other users for some reason.
