SUMMARY
My Desktop setup - 4 port KVM - hdmi at 4k 60Hz, USB port sharing wireless
keyboard and wireless mouse transmitter.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Login into KDE desktop (on kvm devices 2 out of 4)
2. Switch KVM to device 1 / 3 / 4 -- any other device connected to KVM. Wait 2
minutes
3. Switch back to KDE Neon device KVM device 2 out of 4. KDE is frozen for 60
to 80 seconds
OBSERVED RESULT
KDE Seems to forget that there was a device attached to it. This works without
an issue on MX Linux (23.x) running KDE Plasma 5.x and MX Linux (23.x) running
Xfce.
EXPECTED RESULT
Keyboard, Video output (hdmi) and Mouse should work immediately
