SUMMARY
I couldn't find how to choose systemsettings product on the previous page, so
I'm posting it here.
The text below is a description of how I got here. To understand what is
essential, what I wrote in the Summary field is enough.
I was using my laptop at night, and when I was done, I put it to sleep (by
closing the lid). The next time I opened it, I noticed that the Night Light
transition took longer than I would have liked. When I checked the settings, I
couldn't find an option to change the transition duration, because the
"Swithing times" option was set to "Sunset and sunrise at manual location". I
already knew that you can only change this setting when "Switching times" is
set to "Custom times" option.
This feels like a UI/UX issue to me. Imagine if someone experienced the same
situation but didn’t know that transition duration can only be changed when
“Switching times” is set to “Custom times”. I see frustration-inducing event
here.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open settings and navigate to Night Light page.
2. Switch "Switching times" option to "Sunset and sunrise at manual location"
or any other option except for "Custom times"
3. Observe inability to change transition duration.
OBSERVED RESULT
You're not able to change the transition duration.
EXPECTED RESULT
You should have the option to change the transition duration. You need to know
beforehand that this can only be done when “Switching times” is set to “Custom
times”. Without this knowledge it appears as though you can't change the
duration at all.
