            Bug ID: 374315
           Summary: Skanlite fails to save images with error message
                    "Failed to save image: No such file or directory"
           Product: Skanlite
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kare.s...@iki.fi
          Reporter: m...@jaimegaspar.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Bug:
when the file name is not given an extension, Skanlite fails to save the
scanned image to the file and gives the error message "Failed to save image: No
such file or directory".

How to reproduce the bug:
- click on the button "Scan";
- when the preview window appears, click on the button "Save";
- choose a directory and file name to where to save the scanned image but not
adding an extension to the file name;
- click on the button "Save";
- appears the error message "Failed to save image: No such file or directory"
and the scanned image is not saved to the file.

Workaround:
when choosing the file name, add an extension to the file name.

Versions:
- Skanlite 2.0.0;
- KDE Frameworks 5.26.0;
- Qt 5.6.1.
