Looks like an edge case somewhat related to
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356045 , the solution to which covers
custom icons for general folders, but might always use the icon theme's
standard icons for XDG directories based on
https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kio/-/blob/v6.15.0/src/core/global.cpp?ref_type=tags#L193
