I'm afraid Plasma 5 is unfortunately no longer eligible for support or maintenance from KDE. I would suggest you report this to your distro, they're the ones who bear the responsibility of maintaining the older software they ship. Unfortunately KDE itself cannot provide support for very old Plasma versions anymore. If this issue is still reproducible in Plasma 6.3.5 or later, feel free to re-open this bug report.
