I'm running the latest locally compiled version of KMM from both the 5.2 branch
and the master branch on Fedora 42.
The process of matching and accepting transactions has changed since 5.3. The
layout of the buttons is a little less friendly than before (as I recall). It
seems to take more clicks to match transactions and then accept the combined
transaction or at least the buttons are further apart.
To streamline this process a little I suggest adding and "Merge & Accept" to
the "Merge transactions" dialog box. It currently has a Cancel and OK button
which could both remain although maybe rename the OK button "Merge" or "Merge
Only". Adding a third button would allow the transactions to be merged and
accepted in one step.
