SUMMARY
OpenCL acceleration still not available in 8.7.0 AppImage though it works in
other apps
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start digikam (testet with digiKam-8.7.0-Qt6-x86-64.appimage)
2. In Preferences -> System, click "Test GPU AI compatibility"
OBSERVED RESULT
Starting OpenCV OpenCL DNN test...
Checking for OpenCL GPU acceleration compatibility with AI models...
Error: OpenCL is not available on this system.
Test failed. Your system may not be able to use GPU acceleration for the AI
models.
EXPECTED RESULT
OpenCL is available on the system.
- Output of `clinfo` indicates that there is OpenCL support
- Darktable successfully uses opencl on the same system (testet with `darktable
-d opencl`)
