I know this page has become a bit of a mixed bag of comments and issues now,
but the original issue as described by the original bug reporter has been
resolved now.

https://invent.kde.org/system/dolphin/-/commit/c1e71289082ec7416ac19c822393ea70f63d1b75
has made the keyboard focus indicator way more obvious. It is no longer just an
underline but a focus rectangle around the item. This change will land in
Dolphin 25.08.
