SUMMARY
I can no longer use the default compose mappings when I provide a custom
.XCompose.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create ~/.XCompose
2. Try using compose key with a default combination (e.g. `compose + a + e`
should create æ)
OBSERVED RESULT
Compose key fails
EXPECTED RESULT
.XCompose mappings to merge with default mappings.
