SUMMARY
Kdenlive timeline slow when working with 4k clips. Also color grading is
impossible with proxy clips due to quality of clips being too low to see.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Import 4k log footage on laptop with discrete gpu
2. Clips not using proxy
3. Attempt to color grade full project (15 mins), kdenlive slows down
particularly with many effects
OBSERVED RESULT
Kdenlive slows to a crawl and it becomes impossible to check footage without
rendering and waiting for it to render. This slows workflow and makes it
difficult to use
EXPECTED RESULT
Kdenlive offloads some of the work to the gpu
