            Bug ID: 506748
Summary: Reword double negative "Don't prevent the system from
                    booting if not mountable"
    Classification: Applications
           Product: partitionmanager
      Version First 25.04.2
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

The "Edit Mount Point" dialog has the option "Don't prevent the system from
booting if not mountable". This wording is confusing. Checkboxes should be
stated in the positive wherever possible, i.e. "Allow the system to boot"
rather than "Don't prevent" (there are three negations in that sentence, making
it very difficult to understand).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Partition Manager
2. Select a partition
3. Right-click, select "Edit Mount Point"

OBSERVED RESULT
"Don't prevent the system from booting if not mountable"

EXPECTED RESULT
"Allow the system to boot if not mountable" or similar (e.g. "Allow the system
to continue booting if mount fails")

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Nobara KDE
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.14.0
Qt Version: 6.9.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The file in Github is:
partitionmanager/po/nn/partitionmanager.po
Line 925:
msgid "Don't prevent the system from booting if not mountable"

I would change it myself, but I don't see it being worth creating a fork just
to improve some wording.
