One move prior to the status switching to winnable
SUMMARY
Solver showed a winnable Simple Simon game as unwinnable.
(I see that similar bugs have been reported, however since this is not really
reproduceable, I hope that more examples may be helpful. Feel free to close
this or to merge it with another report.)
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
I'm afraid I can't list exact steps to reproduce, however I have screenshots
that show some board configurations throughout the game. (Sorry, I seem to
only be able to attach one... I'm new at this but maybe I can patch the others
in.)
OBSERVED RESULT
I was playing Simple Simon and fairly early in the game I was told that the
game was lost and then "no longer winnable". However, I had an open slot and
lots of obvious moves so I doubted this and kept playing. Many moves later it
became very clear to me that the game should be winnable - I think at one point
I even had 3 open slots and was still told it was not winnable. However a few
moves after that, the status switched to "winnable". This is when I started
taking screenshots. I'm afraid that I don't know if I noticed on the exact
move where it switched, though, and the winnable status was inconsistent when
stepping through with undo/redo. I was still able to capture one state where
it said not-winnable and then one move later where it said winnable. And then
a handful of screenshots to show the general progression of the game so you can
hopefully see HOW it was winnable.
EXPECTED RESULT
This game should not have shown as unwinnable, since I played it through and
won.
