SUMMARY
After upgrading from 25.04.2 to 25.04.3, I see the message "Your project was
modified on opening, a backup will be created on next save" whenever I open the
project file. After saving and reopening, it happens again, so a new backup
file is added each time.
About a day later, I noticed that almost all of the editing that I did was
gone. Previously, there was a ton of YTP-style editing. Now, there's still
multiple clips, but only one unsplit clip per source video. This did not happen
immediately after the upgrade. This might be corruption.
MLT version: 7.32.0
I got kdenlive from flathub.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Do a bunch of edits, including splits and rearrangement of clips
2. Upgrade from 25.04.2 to 25.04.3
3. Continue working on project
OBSERVED RESULT
"Your project was modified on opening, a backup will be created on next save"
and lost edits
EXPECTED RESULT
No "Your project was modified on opening, a backup will be created on next
save", edits being kept
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora GNU + Linux 42
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.13.0
Qt Version: 6.9.0
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
kdenlive-output.txt contains output from running `/usr/bin/flatpak run
--branch=stable --arch=x86_64 --command=kdenlive --file-forwarding
org.kde.kdenlive @@ "/home/dullbananas/Dropbox/kdenlive/gamblers ytp/gamblers
ytp_backup0.kdenlive" @@` in terminal and then closing the kdenlive window
without saving. If I understand correctly, "gamblers ytp_backup0.kdenlive"
contains the data from before I upgraded kdenlive.
