I am well aware of that repo. The latest tag on that repo is v25.07.90. It's a
mirror to the actual repo in Invent, it has a link to it. It has the same
latest tag,  which is why I asked where you had installed it from.

On my Solus system running git-master, KDE Connect is version 25.04.3. I don't
have git-master set up on a Fedora 42 system.

Based on your response, I assume you installed KDE Connect from Discover in
Fedora, supported by the fc42 tag in the tarballs. This is probably something
you'll need to report to Fedora.

Since KDE Connect 25.11.70 is not published by the official KDE Connect repo
the developers likely can't help with this. I'll let them make that
determination.
