            Bug ID: 508485
Summary: "Brightness and Color" list view not properly read by
                    screen readers
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
      Version First 6.4.4
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
Component: Display Configuration widget and OSD
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY
The list view inside the "Brightness and Color" flyout doesn't handle keyboard
navigation properly when using screen readers, leading to it not being read
aloud correctly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start orca
2. Focus on a panel with a system tray
3. Open the "Brightness and Color" tray icon
4. Try to navigate through the list of items.

OBSERVED RESULT
I hear "Page Tab," followed by the currently selected item in the list view.
The items themselves are properly labelled, but if I then navigate to one of
the other items in the list, orca never reads the newly focused item aloud.

EXPECTED RESULT
I should hear the focused list item read aloud when I switch between items
using my keyboard, not just when first opening the menu.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Plasma 6.4.4 on Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0
Qt Version: 6.9.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I wasn't entirely correct that all items are labelled properly. While Night
Light is, my TV brightness is never read to me. I should hear the model of my
TV followed by its current brightness, but never actually do. Instead, it's as
if orca is never informed that the flyout is in focus at all.

Furthermore, while I can nudge the slider with my arrow keys, I'm never
informed that the brightness has changed. I can see it with my eyes but it is
never spoken.
