STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Went to "Window Management > Desktop Effects".
2. Enabled "Hide Cursor".
OBSERVED RESULT
I had to reboot for it to work.
EXPECTED RESULT
It should work right away, or have a message telling I have to reboot when
enabling it for the first time.
