You can check with drm_info. Generally I would still assume that it is a driver issue, or maybe a display quirk the drivers have to add. FWIW I know for certain that Intel's handling of the "Colorspace" property / wcg is still broken and yields wrong results in many cases. Could you clarify what you mean with "neither are impacted by toggling wcg" though?
