I can reproduce a hang if I run the TC outside of Valgrind, something like /usr/bin/time sh -c "none/tests/freebsd/bug452274 > /dev/null 2>&1" Without the redirection (so going to a terminal over ssh) then the TC runs about 5x slower than natively.
