            Bug ID: 509614
Summary: Krita exits and resets the transform tool overlay as
soon as I move the pivot point within a selection that
                    I have made.
    Classification: Applications
           Product: krita
      Version First 5.2.11
       Reported In:
          Platform: Microsoft Windows
                OS: Microsoft Windows
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Tools/Transform
          Assignee: [email protected]

  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When I lasso a selection on a layer I have drawn on and then go to the
transform tool and drag and drop the pivot point from the centre, the free
transform box disappears and I need to click back on the selection. When I do,
the pivot point is back in the centre. This issue is only in a selection I have
made and when I use the transform tool on a whole layer, I can move the pivot
point and rotate about it. The issue persists regardless of resolution or file
size, as I've tried it in other files. It's worth noting that in the file size
segment, the instant preview data is inconsistent when it shows up. I have
tried turning on and off instant preview mode and doing the same on the
transform tool but it hasn't made a difference. It is also worth noting that I
occasionally get a message saying "waiting for image operation to complete"
when drawing many lines quickly, but it doesn't appear when transforming. This
issue has persisted for about a week and has never been a problem before. I
downloaded a newer krita version, but it didn't make a difference. I have a
video of this issue that I'd be able to email if that would help?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lasso a selection of a drawn in layer with the select tool
2. click on the selection with the free transform tool
3. Drag the pivot point away from the centre

OBSERVED RESULT
Box of the transform tool disappears and only displays the selection until it's
clicked back on. When this is done, the pivot point is back in the centre.

EXPECTED RESULT
The pivot point stays where dropped and can rotate about it.
