Images from the login manager
The following packages were updated today (as of 09/08/2025) via Discover. This
worked without any errors. After rebooting the system, I wanted to log in to
the KDE desktop using the KDEneon login manager.
Step 1:
Entering the password works correctly.
Step 2:
Pressing ENTER had no effect. Normally, the desktop would now appear (if the
password was entered correctly).
Step 3:
The password entered remains grayed out and no further input via mouse or
keyboard is possible.
Step 4:
Only after pressing ENTER again does the KDE desktop start.
After each reboot, I can reproduce this behavior in the login manager, even on
another laptop. Before updating the packages, the login manager behaved
correctly and worked without any problems.
I took three pictures with my smartphone to illustrate the issue.
