Summary: Dolphin crashes when accessing SMB paths without
entering a username prefix
Classification: Applications
Product: dolphin

Status: REPORTED

Target Milestone: ---
Hello! i have a local SMB share in my network under the DNS Name: "fluffnas.fn"
In the past, i was able to access my SMB share simply by typing in
smb://fluffnas.fn
put my username and password, and no problem.
the current problem is that doing this now makes dolphin crash after giving
credentials (and if you have them saved it will crash everytime.)
i am not sure since what version this issue exists, but i am pretty sure this
issue started with KDE 6 or 6.1 and i only now found the energy to report
this.. (Currently i am using KDE ver 6.4.4)
the workaround to this issue is typing in smb://[email protected]
and *then* it works fine.
let me know if i can provide any more information!
