SUMMARY
The masking SAM plugin crashes when trying to create a mask on a clip that
doesn't fit the current active search filter in the project bin.
For example, if your filter is "garden" and you're trying to get a mask for a
clip from "beach.mov", the plugin will crash because of the file name
constraint.
This may be somewhat related to bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=509816
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set a search filter in the project bin
2. Select a clip in the timeline (coming from a file that has a name that
doesn't show under the active filter)
3. Try to create a mask with the SAM plugin

Plugin crashes

Plugin should work
