SUMMARY
Non-responsive entries for Chromium in the volume applet when playing YouTube
videos.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open YouTube in Chromium and play a video.
2. Check the application tab in the volume applet under the system tray on the
taskbar. You will see one entry for Chromium.
3. Open a new tab in Chromium and navigate to YouTube, then check the
application tab in the volume applet again. You will see two entries for
Chromium, even though no media is being played yet.
4. Play a video in the new tab as well and check the application tab in the
volume applet. You will see three entries for Chromium, with two playing and
one not.
OBSERVED RESULT
Three entries for Chromium in the volume applet, with one entry not
corresponding to any media playback.
EXPECTED RESULT
Only active media playback entries should be displayed in the volume applet.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Not sure if it's entirely relevant, so putting this in ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
Chromium media playback auto-hides itself from the Volume widget on System tray
on pausing the playback, after some time-delay. Media playback from Firefox
does not auto-hide itself after a similar amount of time and stays there.
