I can see the difference from this video, with 6.5 there's a visible stutter
when the cursor image needs to change. What I can't pinpoint is whether it's
just a failed position update or the entire compositing pipeline stalls. Any
chance you could test with something continuously updating next to it? If that
continues to update correctly it's probably a position issue rather than a
pipeline stall.
