Unfortunately the notification code doesn't know if it's a storage device or
not. All it knows is that it's some kind of USB device.

I think it's a good idea in the abstract, but it would take a lot of code to
change. It's also unnecessary for a person using the default settings; the
Disks & Devices widget *does* know which USB devices are storage devices, and
it should appear to offer you the exact button you're looking for.

Is there a reason that doesn't work for you? Have you disabled the Disks &
Devices widget in your System Tray?
