After waking the system from sleep or after the monitor turns off by timeout,
the desktop icons often move to random positions. This happens almost every
day. The icons arrangement is not preserved between sleep/wake cycles.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Arrange desktop icons manually.
- Let the monitor turn off automatically (power saving) or put the system to
sleep.
- Wake the system or turn the monitor back on.
- Observe that the desktop icons are scattered or rearranged randomly.
Expected Result:
Icons should remain in their saved positions after wake-up or monitor power
state changes.
Actual Result:
Icons are randomly repositioned
