SUMMARY
In the add layout dialogue: it seems that filtering (to shorten the list in the
column to the left) causes everything to disappear from the column to the
right.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. System Settings
2. keyboard
3. layouts: enable
4. add
5. type two letters, uk
6. click English (UK)
OBSERVED RESULT
7. in the column to the right, nothing
EXPECTED RESULT
7. in the column to the right, a list of layouts for English (UK), probably
with English (UK) uppermost.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Reproducible in live mode whilst booted from the installer for Kubuntu 25.10 on
a USB memory stick.
Reproducible with filters other than uk; IIRC I found the same issue after
seeking:
