SUMMARY
The default description for the Destination > Filesystem path option in Kup
says that "You can use this option for backing up to a [...] networked
storage". I recently connected a `samba` share via Dolphin, so I simply
copy-pasted the path to the remote folder I wanted to use as destination in
Kup/Backup settings.
I'm now warned, with a bright orange box, that "Only local filesystem paths
will work!". This is confusing for two reasons:
1. As mentioned, the description tells me from the start that "networked
storage" can be used, and a samba share is a networked storage.
2. The warning is in direct contrast with this description. Either only "local
filesystem paths" work, or also networked.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Settings > System > Backups
2. Add new backup plan
3. In "Destination", use a folder in a samba drive that was mounted via Dolphin
(folder path starts with `smb://`)
