            Bug ID: 510903
Summary: Plasma 6.5, ContrastEffect seems to be turned on
                    behind all transparent desktop elements
    Classification: KDE Neon
           Product: neon
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Packages User Edition
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected], [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

Yesterday I received Plasma 6.5 on my Neon User Edition machine.
All transparent desktop-elements (kwin menu's, panel, widgets, plasmoids, menu
dashboard) have the "ContrastEffect" enabled behind them.
This effect could be activated before by editing the file plasmarc in het
root-folder of a plasma-theme in ~/.local/share/plasma/desktopthemes/myTheme
By default it is not activated.
I don't know where the error lies (upstream? Neon-build). But it doesn't look
right.

SUMMARY
ContrastEffect behind transparent desktop-elements allways active in Plasma 6.5

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Plasma 6.5

OBSERVED RESULT
All transparent desktop-elements have the ContrastEffect activated in their
background. This makes imho the whole desktop look less fresh and crispy

EXPECTED RESULT
if the ContrastEffect is not turned on (default) is should not work
