Appointments created remotely by CalDAV do not have the default reminder time
applied despite having Enable reminders for new Events being checked.
Specifically, if I create a new appointment (or someone creates one for me),
the appointment is correctly synced, but the reminder is not applied.
Marking this "major" severity because it results in missed meetings and defeats
the purpose of having default reminders.
