Summary: KDE NEON CAN NOT BE INSTALLED
    Classification: I don't know
           Product: kde
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: Neon
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general

  Target Milestone: ---

KDE NEON CAN NOT BE INSTALLED

the installer can not install into a newly created partition alongside Windows
11.

It takes a very long time to be not successful and then errors out, see below.

After this error the disk I want to install to is not available any more to the
system I booted from the KDE neon USB Stick.

Also from the command line that I can see in the error the installer seems to
create a LUKS type 1 partition, which really should not be used in 2025. Who is
sleeping so hard on security and encrypted partitions a KDE?

Overall real disgrace and very disappointing. In this times with neo fascist
governments taking over it is absolutely basic requirement to provide a safe
hard disk encryption and installation of such a system should ork OOB without
any problems. This is not 1998 any more. Please prioritize secure installation
by default, thanks.
