SUMMARY
I tend to use mastodon apps to interact with friendica instances. Sometimes
I'm able to get to a login, and regardless of method. It eventually crashes to
desktop or more often freezes app at entering the instance. I do not know if
this is relevant... but I have similar issues with tuba. but tut and toot work
perfectly - dunno if those being a tui is a factor.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open app
2. enter my-place.social instance
3. wait for results
OBSERVED RESULT
either immediately freezes app or foes to login which then crashes or freezes
